Newzik iOS 7.13.0 was released on August 3rd, 2026. The following items have been added, modified or fixed:

• Smart Buttons : Smart Buttons are interactive controls you place directly on a score page to trigger an action: start the metronome, send a MIDI command, jump to another piece (read more here)
• MIDI Commands:  MIDI commands enable a score to interact automatically with your MIDI devices, broadcasting messages the moment a score opens, or switching to a score the moment a MIDI message arrives (read more here)

• Score view: Redesign of the main menu in ScoreView

FIXED

• Virtual Keyboard: Virtual keyboard is hidden when a pedal is connected (on iOS26)
• Youtube: Crash in Youtube video search when modifying keywords
• Windowed mode: Window controls in iPad windowed mode overlaps with the top bar
• Apple Sign-in: The Apple User ID is displayed instead of the email
