I cannot convert my sheet music to LiveScore. Why?
If the number of pages of the part you are trying to convert exceeds the amount of LiveScore credits you own (3 pieces and maximum 10 pages in the free trial version), you will not be able to convert your sheet music to LiveScore.
It is not possible to convert licensed sheet music to LiveScores.
Can I close my piece and/or my app or my browser window after launching a LiveScore conversion?
Yes - once a LiveScore conversion process has been launched, everything will occur in the background and you can safely leave the current piece or close your browser or app. You can check the status of your Livescore conversions in the LiveScores Dashboard. If you have activated notifications, you will be notified when the process is completed.
The conversion of my music to LiveScore is taking a long time. What is happening?
Converting PDF sheet music to LiveScores requires powerful Optical Music Recognition (OMR) algorithms and deep learning processes in order to get the best result possible. Depending on the number of pages and the complexity of your parts, the conversion process can take some time. This process will become faster and faster in the future, thanks to Artificial Intelligence.
The conversion of my music to LiveScore fails. Why does it happen?
The most common causes of failure when converting to LiveScore are as follows:
- the format of your score is not supported by our optical music recognition algorithms
- the quality of the PDF document is insufficient (scan quality, truncated score, etc.).

Is there a limit as to how many pieces I can convert to LiveScores?
With Newzik Premium, you can use this feature without limits.

Can I change the sounds of the instruments used to play my LiveScore?
Yes - you can use the MIDI mixer to select another sound than the one that was selected by default (you can also mute or solo tracks).
How to change the tempo of my LiveScore ?
You can change the tempo of LiveScore playback by modifying the BPM value in the metronome settings (accessible in the bottom right corner of the score view).
How to loop measures of my LiveScore ?
You can loop a sequence of a LiveScore by dragging your finger on the measures you wish to select.
